About Gimme Vintage
Gimme Vintage is a boutique online retailer carrying a hand-selected curation of vintage attire. What started off as a passion for collecting historical fashion pieces transformed into a shopping destination where people can discover an archive of coveted apparel; each piece with personality, and a story to tell.
Meet the Founder
After graduating, I began my career fashion styling in Atlanta, Ga. A huge part of my job was sourcing garments for shoots. More often than not, I found myself at the local vintage/thrift shops where my love for vintage grew enormously, and so did my closet. Eventually, I left the fashion industry and Atlanta to move to New York City where I became a Real Estate Broker. Over the years of selling real estate, I continued to build my vintage collection with hopes of one day owning my own shop.
Fast forward to Quarantine 2020. I'm locked down in my Brooklyn apartment with 5 walk-in closets and 2 rolling racks stuffed with over 200 pieces (not to mention the boxes I stored at my dad's house in Virginia when I moved). With this newfound free time on my hands, I knew now was the time. For the next couple of months, my days were spent on daily zoom calls with my web developer and shooting inventory on my building's roof.
After much hard work Gimme Vintage was born in the fall of 2020. I invite all of you to join me on this journey as I travel and hunt down the best vintage pieces out there!
